OUR NIGERIAN CUSTOMS SERVICE STOP HOARDING CONTRABAND GOODS

After reading EFCC reports this evening I was forced to put up this
write-ups or you will call it a cognizant appeal to our Nigerian Customs
Service. Below are the details of what was discovered after last week's
discovery of 17 exotic cars, just day before yesterday some discoveries
were made by our anti-graft agency at the warehouse of our ex-custom
service boss.

The anti-graft agency listed the recovered items as:
1. 42 brand new customized yellow-coloured tricycles
2. 16 brand new cargo motorcycles
3. 1 brand new white 32-seater Nissan civilian bus
‎4. 1 MAN Diesel Truck
‎5. 515 brand new imported rugs of different colours and sizes
6. Two metal bullet proof safe with the sum of N 1,565
7. Documents of transactions in different currencies within and outside the
country.

The Nigerian Customs seizes goods and tags them 'contraband', only for it
to be stored in their various warehouses placing in minds of the victims or
culprits that the goods has been confiscated and disposed off.

These I call stealing (corruption) at its highest order, so am appealing to
our present Customs  leaders, please let's stop hoarding our contraband
goods only to be sold out a year or months after.

I know you will say "na where man dey work na there him dey chop", but at
least the FG is doing her best make sure you get your salaries as at when
due. So start developing the spirit of contemptuous. Be diligent in
whatever service you rendering, and God in his infinite goodness and mercy
will reward you.

I pray this article gets to you and some of our uniform men who in one way
or the other ain't diligent to the service they are rendering, please let
us all change our ways.

May God bless Nigeria...
