LAMENTATIONS OF A BETRAYED SOUL (FEATURED POST)

Have you ever heard songs from the hills
Only to find out they are the reverberated sounds of the oceans against the rocks
Have you ever heard the bird's whistle?
Only so you found out, they are the rustling of the fallen summer leaves
Have you ever felt to your skin, a golden heat, similar to that from a Goldsmith?
And surprisingly, it's the radiation from the heavens
A part so unreachable

Have you not felt what seemed to be a calming breeze once?
And it turned out to be the bellows of an oncoming hurricane
Now tell me, are you so mesmerized in this piece from the writer?
That you still don't realize, it's from a dejected heart
Have you ever held someone so dear to your heart?
Only so you overheard him giving you a stab on your back

Now you feel the pains of this soul, as he laments
Now you feel like to go over this once more to feel his disappointed heart
This is though, no love story
It's akin to a fallen soldier's glory.
