COMMODIFIED CONSCIOUSNESS ( FEATURED POST)

Oppressed by honourable melancholy
An anguish of knowledge and intelligence
Held my heart in manacles of humility
And my breast blooms of imperfect joy
Life weeps more because vain it weeps
Our backs bent to carry the catastrophe
The personification of abstract – faith

Volition and passion were satisfied
Building our faith on politics and mountain
If the man whose chameleons die often on
Another man’s barbecue ashamed not;
The man who owns the barbecue should be
And God is so perfect and quiet
To things that are than death important

It is the battle of two perorated animals
One has long horn and the other short
Short horn large in size; long horn mini
I cannot tell whose weight is better
But one could lock the other outside
That outside – we bend our heart to God
With hypocrisy I think God should know

If you were there last night
There were pithy cold and catarrh
With broad denial of identity in just congregation
A revolution of will and countered will
Coloured invention of unity and piety
Here and there, we all daggle
Through jungles of political polity

A confused heath growing somewhere
Behind the veils or around the beards
Or around the premises of inaugurated executives
Politically ordained, religiously accepted
If I could take a stance, I would be saint
But by default, subject of flesh we all be
Maybe we will soon be unpossessed

The Puritans protest on the stage
Who have once told us “how forbidden protest is”
A starved imagination of absurdity
Like varieties of concoction sitting on truth
Where we struggle piety to hold firm
God Himself understand rare structure of truth
But will not come down to point fingers
