MUSIC REVIEW: A TRIP TO THE SOUTH

Erigga has released the best rap project to come out of Nigeria in 2017 with A Trip To The South
The EP features various artiste like Skales Alhaji Orezi, Duncan Mighty and Lamar with production credits going to Dr Amir, Ozi Mr Moore etc. This is the best we have ever heard from the amazing King of the South.
Here is a personal review of the song in the EP

A TRIP TO THE SOUTH: this track like the whole album proves why Erigga is one of the best rapper in Nigeria his punchline and wordplay delivery is tight that you might need to pause to decipher.

BIG: this track is a melodious track where the king of the south spits fire from beginning to the end. This track is a jam.

BIGGIE MAN ft Lamar: this track reminds us of the old Erigga with its intro and Lamar did a good job with the chorus.

BLESS ME ft Alhaji Orezi: Erigga teamed up with Orezi to create this beautiful sound it a track anybody who want to be successful can relate with.

DELETE: this track talks about friends and how they sly when things get rough but Erigga laced it  with up with is signature dopeness.

GHETTO PRAYERS: this tracks talks about the police brutality and harassment.

HOLD UP: This track talks about his struggle and how things changed through believe in himself.

INDUSTRY NITE REFIX: this track is a remake of his Sam Smith stay with me cover he talks about the  industry and some of it unfair conditions.

LAGOS ft Duncan Mighty : Erigga teamed up with one of the best product of the south Duncan Mighty to create a master piece this tracks talks about his struggle in the early stage of his music and Duncan Mighty unique sound makes this song a jam.

LOYALTY:another track that begins and end with deep wordplay and punchline.

WRONG ADVICE (OUTRO): Erigga in this track talks about the unfair criticism that people have been associating with his music.

SPOIL EVERYWHERE: this is a bragging song where he raps about how he wants to enjoy life

YOU DEY SPIT SHA ft Skales: Erigga delivers fire in this track with skales with a potential club banger



Overall I rate this project a 7 out of 10. Erigga didn't disappoint and am sure his fans have started count down to his next work. With Erigga you can't just get enough
