MUCH ADO about THE NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN BILL

So after much agitation, the most talked about bill has been passed. The youth are supposedly happy, the power field has become more open, every youth now has a shot.

But the questions still remain are we the youth ready for leadership, what are our motives for wanting to get political power. Are we interested in behaving like those that have been there before us! Going to feed themselves and fatten there pocket, at the detriment of the electorate.

Another issue about this not too young run is the issue of understanding, the youth that want to run for public office do they understand how proper politics is done, the experience, the exposure, the demands of public office isn't meant for the faint hearted youth.

Again even if the bill was what every youth wanted, what if the big political wig hijacked the whole stuff  imposing their protege on us probably because they feel they might not get voted in and thus they throw their whole weight behind the person who dances to their tune then again the whole purpose would be defeated

The fact that youth now have the chance to run for public office should be use wisely and let's those trying to make fun of it especially our entertainers desist from it as it been a real struggle to get to this stage

But I still support the bill and I hope it does more  harm than good to the citizen of Nigeria .
